SAVING at Asos: £19.50 - SUITS YOU: If you don’t want to fork out for new threads, Moss Bros offers full suit hire from £42. If you are after a simpler look, try updating old shirt and trouser combos with a smart new blazer. Burton currently has a huge sale on, with blazers up for grabs for as little as £18, down from £60. I was also impressed to see full suits from £59 in the sale.
SAVING: Up to £42 at Burton - FINE DINING: Many areas at Ascot do not allow punters to bring their own picnic. Check the rules of the enclosure you are going to and plan accordingly. If you’re not allowed to bring your own, consider stocking up on snacks in the car or making a pit stop somewhere with deals on your way home. For example, Prezzo is currently offering 30 per cent off. If you fancy a tipple, the nearby Loch Fyne has 2-4-1 cocktails from noon to 7pm, Sunday to Thursday, and from 5pm–7pm, Friday and Saturday.
