Stuart Broad quite literally knocked Marnus Labuschagne over as England’s bowlers impressed against Australia in the first session of the final Ashes Test in Hobart.
Former England bowler Steven Finn told BBC Test Match Special: ‘What an extraordinary way to go.
‘It is almost as if Labuschagne’s foot slides across the grass. He gets himself in a complete tangle. He has been bowled around his legs middle stump.’
He added: ‘A very, very entertaining afternoon’s jousting. We saw significant seam movement before the counter-attack from Labuschagne and Head.
‘They put some pressure back on the bowlers but just as you thought Australia were having a good session Labuschagne is bowled in extraordinary fashion.
‘England will be happy. The balance is slightly in their favour.’
