Emmerdale spoilers: Victoria Sugden taken aback by Luke's shock proposal?

Victoria Sugden (played by Isabel Hodgins) has settled back into Emmerdale and into motherhood well in the last few weeks, despite the ongoing pressure she faces from an overbearing Wendy Posner (Susan Cookson). However, next week, Victoria is going to be left taken aback when Luke Posner (Max Parker) arrives with a proposal.

Victoria and viewers alike were disappointed when Luke turned out to be Lee Posner’s (Kris Mochrie) brother.

Everyone thought Luke was the perfect man for the Woolpack chef following the horrific rape ordeal she endured last year.

However, despite his connection to her rapist, Victoria vowed to not use this against him, especially after Lee told her he believed his brother sexually assaulted her.

Luke has proven a godsend to Victoria, keeping distance and the peace between her and Wendy.

But it seems, he may use his friendship with Victoria to persuade her to change her mind about baby Harry meeting Wendy.

Next week, ITV viewers are going to tune in and see Luke invited round to Victoria’s cottage to meet his nephew Harry.

Conversation soon turns to how Wendy is coping with living in the village and spending Christmas without son Lee.

And she soon wonders whether or not Wendy should get the opportunity to spend time with Harry.

Despite their closeness, some fans think Luke is better suited to Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller).

Taking to Twitter to discuss, one said: “For some reason I’m getting the inclination of a love triangle story with Luke, Victoria, and Aaron. Coming to #emmerdale in the summer.”

Are we going to get an Aaron/Luke/Victoria triangle? #Emmerdale,” a tweet read.

#Emmerdale Oh no, Luke has more chemistry with Aaron than he has with Victoria. Let’s see if they write it,” another added.
