Emmerdale spoilers: Victoria Sugden set for harrowing twist as Lee trauma takes awful turn

The ITV soap is getting ready for another harrowing twist in fan-favourite Victoria’s (played by Isabel Hodgins) rape storyline, and the character is set for another world of pain when Lee (Kris Mochrie) and his mother Wendy discover she is pregnant.

The horrific reveal comes after Diane Sugden (Elizabeth Estensen) accidentally puts her foot in it when the nasty duo try to force their way into Mill Cottage on Emmerdale.

Panicking, Diane sees Victoria fall over and warns the pair to be careful about her welfare.

Stunned, Lee and Wendy are thrown through a loop, but it could quickly become clear the pair’s decision on how to navigate Victoria’s claims will change.

Will Wendy be desperate for a grandchild and so determined to keep Victoria on side?

Or will the twisted Lee try and manipulate his victim into getting an abortion?

Lee continues to deny his guilt in assaulting Victoria, and is pleased the police decided to let the case go with insufficient evidence.

Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) and husband Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) attempted to force Lee into a confession by branding him a rapist with posters strewn across his business, but it was no use.

Lee lost his job but that only made the character determined to come after Victoria yet again, and he continues to bully her in the village.

Elsewhere in the Dales, Priya (Fiona Wade) has Emmerdale fans deeply concerned following Friday night’s episode of the ITV soap.

The character began acting incredibly shady, and eagle-eyed viewers couldn’t help but notice it appeared she was hiding something.

Long-time viewers will remember Priya developed an eating disorder early on in her time on the BBC soap, luckily managing to gain control of her addiction, but has it returned?

Or is it because she’s hiding a secret that she was the one who attacked child abuser Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) before she went to prison.

Maya and the police became suspicious of David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) at first, but Maya later claimed the mystery person was in fact a woman.

Priya initially tried to dissuade Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) from hurting and kidnapping Maya, but did she change her mind when the guilt over Jacob Gallagher’s (Joe-Warren Plant) trauma became too much?

Taking to Twitter, viewers shared their thoughts on what’s to come for Priya.

“What’s wrong with Priya…. #Emmerdale,” one person worried.

Another wrote: “Oh no what’s wrong with Priya #Emmerdale @emmerdale @FionaWade_.”

“#emmerdale revisiting Priya’s eating disorder storyline?” a third guessed.

Emmerdale continues Monday at 7pm on ITV.
