Emmerdale spoilers: Real reason for Frank Clayton's suspicious behaviour exposed by fans?

Frank Clayton (played by Michael Praed) has been acting suspiciously on Emmerdale recently and his behaviour has left many viewers speculating on what the village resident could be up to.

Over the last few weeks Frank has been doing his best to hide his movements from girlfriend Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye) causing fans to wonder if he’s been up to no good.

The Emmerdale resident doesn’t have a great track record and has been jailed for fraud in the past as well as cheating Megan with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).

Considering his dodgy reputation, it’s no surprise both Megan and Emmerdale fans are suspicious and have been left fearing the worst.

However, fans have taken to social media to expose what they think the dodgy character has been hiding over the last few weeks.

One said: “What is Frank up to & why is he always lying ?? #Emmerdale.”

“Frank doing another con?? #Emmerdale,” a second wrote and a third tweeted: “What’s Fidgety Frank up to, then? #Emmerdale.”

Another added: “Frank’s definitely up to no good #Emmerdale,” and a fifth remarked: “Wonder what Frank’s up to ??? #Emmerdale.”

“Frank is so doing a dodgy deal… Or cheating. It’ll all come out after the fire. #Emmerdale,” speculated one viewer.

“Can they make it more obvious something is going to happen to Frank? He’s one of my favourites #emmerdale,” said another.

With a history of cheating on Megan in the past, could Frank be up to his old tricks again?

Meanwhile, Emmerdale fans discovered a fire would engulf the Sharma sweet factory in upcoming episodes and it looks like Frank may end up dead as a result.

In a new trailer released earlier this month, fans caught a glimpse of the blaze and were left convinced at least one Emmerdale resident will die in the fire.

Frank’s daughter, Tracey Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) was seen trapped inside the factory, banging on the door screaming “Help me someone, I’m in here,” in the clip.

Emmerdale viewers are convinced he will be lose his life after rushing in to save Tracy as she struggles to escape from the blaze.

One wrote: “Frank talking about the future again… he’s definitely dying in that fire. So many references to him talking about the future. #Emmerdale.”

Another added: “Am guessing Frank will rescue Tracey from the fire, and he will be the one to die #Emmerdale.”

“Frank’s talking about the importance of family alot in these past few episodes.. he’s definitely going to die. #Emmerdale,” a third wrote.

“My theory is Frank dies saving Tracey and Megan leaves the village for a new start #emmerdale,” a fourth remarked.

In other Emmerdale news, has Lee Posner’s (Kris Mochrie) fate been sealed after Robert Sugden’s (Ryaan Hawley) attack?

Emmerdale continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.
