Emmerdale spoilers: Paddy Kirk and Chas Dingle in trouble as viewers spot warning signs?

Bear Wolf (played by Joshua Richards) came crashing back into the ITV soap as he accidentally trashed Grace Dingle’s memorial garden when he drove his motorbike through it.

Paddy (Dominic Brunt) thought he’d seen the last of the wrestler after he found out he was his biological father on Emmerdale but tonight he returned.

After talking with Paddy, who had just come back to the village with Chas (Lucy Pargeter), Bear said he’d injured his shoulder but at first seemed reluctant to accept medical help.

However, Dr Liam Kavanagh (Jonny McPherson) told Bear their was nothing wrong with him although he still insisted he was in pain.

He begged the doctor for a painkiller prescription as well as a plaster cast or neck brace to bring visible attention to his “injury”.

Bear then returned to the Woolpack where he met with Paddy again and said it would take “months” to heal and that he would be sticking around.

He said he wanted to get to know Paddy, however, fans aren’t so sure and they were suspicious of Bear’s real motives, saying they weren’t “fooled” by him.

One wrote: “#Emmerdale Come on guys, why bring back Bear, we are not fooled by him. Don’t you think there’s enough going on, nor happy.”

“Bear wolf the lying scrounger. He’ll drink the pub dry. #Emmerdale,” a second added.

A third wrote: “Wouldn’t trust Bear as far as I could throw him in a wrestling ring! #EMMERDALE.”

“Bear is getting on my nerves. Faking an injury for sympathy so he can leech off Paddy and Chaz. #Emmerdale,” a fourth opined.

While a fifth ominously added: “I don’t think it will end well Bear staying with Chas and Paddy #emmerdale,”

Does Bear actually have bad intentions to fleece Chas and Paddy, or this the start of a storyline that could perhaps deal with painkiller addiction?

The happy news for Chas and Paddy is that their baby is healthy which was a big worry for the pair of them after their first child together Grace died shortly after birth as she suffered with a genetic disorder called bilateral renal agenesis.

The couple went for a 12 week scan on the soap this evening where they learnt everything was as it should be and their unborn child had a “strong, healthy heartbeat”.

When they returned to Emmerdale, Chas and Paddy told their friends the tot was due October 17.

It came as upon their return they saw their friends had completed Grace’s memorial garden that Paddy had started to build.

The pair were extremely touched, although of course later upset when Bear drove through it.

Chas told them: “Thank you, all of you. You’ve got no idea how much this means, especially finishing it today.”

Emmerdale continues tomorrow at 7pm on ITV.
