Emmerdale spoilers: Jacob Gallagher dealt cruel setback over Maya Stepney romance


Emmerdale fans watched in horror as Jacob Gallagher (played by Joe-Warren Plant) fell victim to evil Maya Stepney’s ways. Their relationship was cut shorter than they hoped when they were exposed and Maya went to prison.

But now Jacob is set to suffer a giant setback as he his taunted by Noah Dingle about his first love.

The two friends fall out when Noah rudely quizzes Jacob over his disturbing relationship with the predatory schoolteacher.

Currently recovering from his ordeal, Jacob has been keeping himself to himself but as Halloween approaches he is invited by Leanna Cavanagh (Mimi Slinger) to hang out with her, Noah and Sarah Sugden (Sophia Moore).

A big moment for him, he agrees but things take a turn for the worst as jealous Noah decides to bring up his past, hurling cruel jibes at the teen.

When the taunts become too much, Jacob leaves and accuses Leanna of only inviting him to stir things.

Fortunately for Jacob, Leanna had good intentions when inviting him and reaches out to him back at the shop.

The two get close and end up embracing.

But is really Jacob over Maya?

Is the teen ready for a new relationship after everything that happened to him?

Elsewhere in the Dales, viewers watched as Cain Dingle (played by Jeff Hordley) was left devastated when he found out that his mother, Faith Dingle (Sally Dexter), had kept his son, Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) a secret from him.

Nate seduced Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) to get revenge on Cain, who he believed had abandoned him.

But Cain was shocked to learn the truth when it all came out on the boat.

Nate insisted he only went for Moira just to get back at him and that his mum, Cara Robinson had written letters to Cain to inform him he had a son.

Will this lead to Cara arriving in the village?

Fans are wondering if there will be a revenge plot in store for Cain, as the Dingle bad boy is never one to let things slide.

Last weeks explosive episodes left fans shocked and confused, as a whirl wind of drama scooped them up in ancient lies and secrets.

Will Cain get Moira back and have an affair?

But who will he sleep with?

In the pub Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson), who shares baby Kyle with Cain, was brought up to speed along with the rest of the Dingle’s while celebrating the birth of baby Eve after Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) gave birth on opening night in the toilets.

This week, viewers will see the aftermath of the shocking news hit Cain and he’ll turn to the bottle as he tries to adjust.

Amy becomes worried about his drinking and suggests Cain take a break with her and Kyle.

After much persuasion, he finally agrees and Moira is left distraught that her husband is leaving with his ex.

Could the spark reignite among the former flames?

Will Cain decide whether to ditch Moira after all and start over again solo?

Emmerdale airs weekday evenings at 7pm on ITV.
