Emmerdale spoilers: Has Cain Dingle's new ally been revealed as family ripped apart?

Emmerdale fans were crushed when Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert Sugden announced he would be leaving the soap later this year and in recent weeks, his exit storyline has been playing out on screen as he faces the possibility of life behind bars or on the run.

Viewers were left confused after an instalment this month when Ryan stepped out of the cottage and made a phone call to Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), asking him for the money they agreed on.

Cain is someone who Robert has not crossed paths with many times before and to see the two of them interacting suggested the garage owner was helping Robert.

While it seems Cain is going to play an integral part in Robert’s exit, he is also going to be involved in Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) future.

Previous soap spoilers have revealed how ‘Robron’, which is the name fans have given Robert and Aaron, are going to be torn apart by Robert’s trail for assaulting Lee Posner (Kris Mochrie).

Aaron will be utterly heartbroken to have his husband ripped away from him.

With Robert embarking on a new life away from the village, the mechanic will have to start a new chapter without him.

The actor who plays the scrap yard manager has spoken out about what’s in store and how Aaron could be is joining forces with Cain – especially now Mandy is back.

Earlier this week, Mandy (Lisa Riley) made her highly anticipated return to the Dales, and spoilers have revealed how she is back to cause trouble and stir up the Dingle family.

Images from next week’s episodes show Aaron being dragged into Mandy’s dramas, which will keep him busy while he deals with a broken heart.

When asked whether he’s looking forward to being embroiled in the Dingle family shenanigans, Danny stated: “Definitely.

“Often, because of Robert and Aaron’s partnership, they seem to be inseparable on screen which is great for me and Ryan. But we also like to do other things and add our individuality,” the actor continued.

“I’m really looking forward to what’s coming up with the Dingles. Cain and Aaron particularity have always worked really well together. There’s a hidden love there for each other.”

Does this mean Cain and Aaron will be sharing more scenes together and could they be the ones to find out what Mandy’s been up while she’s been away?

Elsewhere in the Dales, Jessie Dingle (Sandra Marvin) is preparing to leave and embark on a new career in Dubai.

The former Hotton Academy head teacher was suspended and then dismissed following an investigation into her conduct surrounding the Maya Stepney (Louisa Clein) grooming Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant).

The actress who plays Jessie announced she would be leaving the character behind to take part in a theatre production and therefore the soap have planned her exit storyline to involve a new career opportunity abroad.

But there is a strong chance husband Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) could be leaving with her.

The pair married one another only nice months ago in a surprise Christmas ceremony and have recently experienced turbulent times when Jessie’s ex partner Al turned up.

Will Marlon up roots and leave his huge family behind to start a new life with Jessie?

Emmerdale returns tonight at 7pm on ITV.
