Emmerdale spoilers: Graham and Rhona 'leave' village after falling for Kim's evil plan

Emmerdale‘s Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) will debate leaving the village later this month after receiving a job offer but all is not as it seems.

The village vet looks set to fall into a trap when she gets a surprising new opportunity.

Rhona is determined to make her own mind up about her latest news, regardless of what anyone thinks including on-off boyfriend Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborugh).

Although she’s not seeing eye to eye with Graham at the moment, Rhona is touched when he tells her that he’s enrolled her son Leo into a football club.

Rhona receives a surprise job offer in upcoming scenes and plans to leave Emmerdale with Graham

After the pair admit that they love each other they finally agree that she should accept the job offer and leave the village together.

Later a scheming Kim Tate (Claire King) confides in her new right-hand man Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) about how Rhona and Graham will be moving to France.

Fans of the ITV soap know that Kim is keen to get Graham out of the picture, not wanting him to expose the bombshell that he’s in fact Millie’s father and not Kim’s son James.

Speaking about her upcoming storyline, Rhona actress Zoe Henry told Digital Spy:”Rhona has been headhunted by a man called Noel, who claims that he knows an old friend of hers, Paul Ramsey, who has set up a practice in France.

Kim and Graham are not as close as they once were

“It’s a veterinary-based job with a house included and it’s all very attractive as a big package.

“Emmerdale has become a village that is a bit hostile for Rhona at the moment.

“She loves it and it’s been her home for ten years, but it’s starting to feel a bit claustrophobic.

The actress continued: “There are people there that Rhona is having run-ins with, like Kim and Jamie.

Viewers will learn that Kim has set a cunning trap to get rid of Rhona and Graham for good

“She wants to get away, so this is a timely offer from Noel and it feels like a really good chance to change things and make a new start.

“Graham is really suspicious, which is his nature anyway.

“Rhona is ever the optimist and sometimes a bit naive. Graham smells a rat as it’s too convenient. He doesn’t believe Noel, so he confronts him.”

Discussing whether Rhona would turn down the job offer is she knew Kim was behind it, Zoe responded: “I think she would. She’d be fuming to find that out, because she can’t bear Kim.

Will Rhona and Graham leave Emmerdale village?

“It’s not just because of what happened when Rhona was with Pete, it’s also because of how Kim treats Graham.

“She realises that Graham has been a doormat. That’s part of her love and affection for him. She wants to show that not all women are like Kim and you can have a healthy, two-way relationship.

“If Rhona found out that Noel was working for Kim, she’d be furious and I think that would be an end to it.”

With Christmas around the corner, we’re sure this is just the beginning of the festive drama in Emmerdale village.

Emmerdale airs tonight on ITV at 7pm.
