Emmerdale spoilers: Debbie Dingle bombshell leaves family shattered as exit plot revealed?

Debbie (played by Charley Webb) has recently discovered she and cousin Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) were left a garage by the late Lisa Dingle (Jane Cox) after she passed earlier this year on Emmerdale.

Lisa was notably absent from the ITV soap for just over a year before her return to the village to play out actress Jane Cox’s, 67, final scenes, and in her time away, she had been residing at the garage in Scotland.

Although Debbie and Belle decided they would stay put, Debbie’s father Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) has other plans as he was left seething the garage wasn’t left in his name.

Cain and Debbie did make up over the dispute, but last night’s episodes saw the departing villager reconsider her deal with the garage but wanted to keep her plans a secret.

During a conversation with auntie Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter), it became clear something was toying on Debbie’s mind with the Woolpack owner questioning her niece about the secrecy.

After shooting out the pub to get some fresh air, Chas was in hot pursuit and although Debbie did her best to try and reassure her auntie everything was ok, the Woolpack owner wasn’t having any of it.

Finally deciding to open up Debbie told Chas: “Nothing’s wrong as such,” before adding: “I’m pretty sure I’m going to move to Scotland.”

Chas was taken aback by her niece’s admission and sternly told Debbie: “We need to talk about this.”

As the two women discussed the prospect of Debbie upheaving her life in the village for a fresh start, Debbie and Chas were at loggerheads over how to tell the rest of the Dingle clan.

“You’re making out like I’m lying here Chas,” Debbie told her auntie after telling Chas she didn’t want the rest of the family and especially Cain to know what she was planning.

“I think you’re lying to yourself if you think this is the best way of doing things,” Chas replied, with Debbie expressing she was still in two minds.

“I’m not even sure if I’m doing the thing yet,” Debbie whispered before Cain interjected to find out what the women were discussing.

With Debbie doubting her future in the village, will the Dingle clan be left shattered when their loved one ups and leaves without any word of warning?

As the only one who knows of Debbie’s plans, will it be left to Chas to inform the family her niece’s whereabouts?

Actress Charley Webb, 31, announced her temporary exit from the soap on Saturday in a Twitter post in view of her 448k followers.

The Emmerdale star, who is expecting there third child with David Metcalfe actor Matthew Wolfenden, 39, posted: “First day of maternity leave and the sun’s shining. YES!

“I’ll be found in the garden sunbathing (for about 20 seconds before one of the kids need me),” the actress remarked.

With Debbie’s exit imminent, another villager who wants to begin a new life away from the Dales is expectant mother Victoria Sugden (Isobel Hodgins).

In a bid to escape her rapist Lee Posner (Kris Mochrie) after falling pregnant with his child in light of his attack on her, she is planning to begin a new life in Cornwall.

However next week, best friend Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) discovers the news after Victoria has failed to tell him, so could the betrayal tear their relationship apart?
