EMMERDALE fans think they have worked out how paedophile Maya Stepney will get found out for sleeping with schoolboy Jacob Gallagher.
On Monday’s episode, teacher Maya climbed on top of 16-year-old Jacob and told the schoolboy “Happy Birthday” before they slept together.
And now fans of the ITV soap are convinced Maya will get pregnant – rumbling their affair because her boyfriend David Metcalfe is infertile.
“I think Maya will end up getting pregnant with Jacob but she doesn’t know David can’t have kids and will drop herself in the s**t,” one fan tweeted.
“Maya is clearly going to get pregnant,” another added.
A third viewer wrote: “How long is this story line going to drag out?! I can’t deal with it anymore… what’s the chances Maya ends up pregnant or something with Jacob’s baby?”

Meanwhile, the soap is facing 60 Ofcom complaints as viewers threaten to switch off over its teenage grooming storyline.

An Ofcom spokesman told The Sun Online: “We are assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules, before deciding whether or not to investigate.”
Monday’s episode attracted more than 30 complaints alone.
Viewers watched as Maya and Jacob prepared to have sex in a hotel room.
One fan tweeted: “Nah do I have to write to Ofcom because #EMMERDALE NEED TO END THIS GROOMING STORYLINE. Maya is disgusting!”

There’s not been any official comment from Emmerdale about what will happen to Maya when she’s eventually caught.
She’s been subtly grooming her boyfriend’s teenage son for months.
