Emmerdale Paddy Kirk set for child heartbreak as he suffers devastating loss

Emmerdale‘s Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) has been struggling to cope recently, after leaving his baby daughter Eve in a car and realising she had gone missing, before he and partner Chas were told they were being investigated by social services.

Emmerdale spoilers have revealed that they will be watched over by a social worker, terrifying Paddy that he could be about to lose his beloved only child.

In forthcoming scenes, Paddy is going to struggle with his fear and worry that he is going to lose his daughter, especially after last week.

He had left Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) a note saying he didn’t feel good enough and left the house, forcing Chas to lie to the social worker about his whereabouts when they came to visit.

Next week, it all becomes too much for Paddy as he loses it with his dad Bear leaves Eve alone in her pram for a bit while he helps David.

Are his fears going to come true as social services take baby Eve?

Things has gotten even worse for Paddy as he was told by his partner and friend Rhona Goskirk, (Zoe Henry) who works in the vets with him, that she is going into business with Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb).

Rhona told him that she would be able to still do veterinary work from the farm, but could she end up stealing business from him?

She was left stunned during last night’s episode when she was told she had been left an eye-watering amount of money from her boyfriend Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough), meaning she could help Moira.

Rhona has given Paddy more bad news as she offered to buy Butlers Farm

Rhona told her: “I’m only doing locum work and there’s not much of it.

“I need something new. This could be really good for both of us, what do you say?

“I can do my vet work from there.”

A stunned Paddy told her: “But we’re the vets for Butlers.”

Is Eve going to be taken away from her family in a tragic twist?

Rhona insisted the details had not yet been finalised but Paddy didn’t look convinced.

Could his business be at risk if Rhona decides to leave for good and take some of his clients?

Emmerdale continues on Friday at 7pm on ITV.
