Emmerdale fans 'delighted' as Lydia Hart exposes Mandy Dingle's plan


Emmerdale fans were delighted that Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) was finally caught out by Lydia Hart (Karen Blick) during tonight’s show.

Mandy pretended to be Lydia Hart to get her hands on some cash she’s been left behind in recent scenes.

A lawyer turned up to Wishing Well cottage to speak to Lydia about her inheritance but unbeknown to the visitor, he was actually dealing with a scheming Mandy.

The solicitor explained that Lydia has been gifted a large sum of money by a mystery benefactor.

Lydia caught Mandy on her online bank account in tonight’s soap

Mandy flirted with the lawyer to persuade him to hand over the cash but her conscience took a knock as Lydia and Sam arrived and interrupted her scam.

In tonight’s show Mandy continued her cunning plan by asking Lydia for access to her laptop to proceed with her plan.

She accessed Lydia’s bank account not knowing that her victim was walking down the stairs.

Lydia later questioned Mandy about why she was on her online bank account.

One fan said: “Lydia has caught Mandy out. About damn time too. I hope Lydia gets that 10k.”

Another added: “Uh-oh you’re in trouble!! Mandy and Vinny are about to be tried in Dingle Court.”

A third tweeted: “At least make sure the people you’re stealing from are out of the house, Mandy.”

Later on in the episode Mandy came clean to Lydia and Sam Dingle about her latest money making scheme.

The pair failed to find the funny side of Mandy’s plan and Sam called for a ‘Dingle Court’ with the rest of the clan.

Sam kept Mandy and her son Vinny hostage to wait for the rest of the family members to turn up but the scheming pair managed to escape with Lydia’s cash in tow.

Viewers will have to tune to see if Lydia manages to get her money back.

Emmerdale returns to ITV tomorrow night at 7pm
