Emmerdale fans convinced Harriet Finch’s stalker is Dawn Wood’s dad Bob Hope

EMMERDALE fans are convinced Harriet Finch’s stalker is Dawn Wood’s dad Bob Hope.

The vicar – played by Katherine Dow Blyton in the ITV soap – has been getting prank phone calls and Tuesday’s episode saw her suspected stalker, Dawn, consoling her.

Harriet had a romance with Bob back when Dawn was a kid, but was actually working undercover to trap him.

One viewer said: “I think its quite obvious that Dawn’s dad is Harriet’s attacker…”

After viewers were led to believe the stalker is Dawn, but some claimed the soap had planted red herrings as one commented: “I’m not trusting Dawn… even though it’s a bit too obvious that she’s Harriet’s stalker.”

A third tweeted: “I think it’s too obvious it’s Dawn that mugged Harriet.. But could it be that obvious?”

It’s become increasingly obvious to the vicar that this wasn’t a one-off and someone is going to great lengths to scare her.

This week she’ll find that someone has been inside her home and – when the outside is vandalised with red paint – she’s well and truly shaken.

But Bob will be seen pointing the finger at Dawn, after Harriet receives a threatening text message that leaves her chilled.

Later, the former police office is out in the village when she hears the church bells ringing.

Puzzled, she heads off to investigate what’s going on but, as she enters the church, the heavy door slams shut behind her leaving her trapped.

Harriet frantically tries to open it, but she’s been locked in. Trapped and terrified, she’s fearful about what will happen next.

Harriet was recently left petrified after being attacked by an unknown hooded figure in what seemed to be a random assault.
