Emma Stone has stepped out as Cruella de Vil for the first time while shooting in London and we’re obsessed with her look.

The 30-year-old actress, who stars as as the infamous dog-napper living in the 1970s punk rock London in Cruella, was spotted shooting outside Liberty department store near Regent Street.

Wearing a stone coloured (geddit?) short sleeved dress and chunky Dr. Martens shoes, all eyes were on Emma’s dark red hair and full fringe which couldn’t be further from Cruella’s signature black and white ‘do as seen in the original promo pics.

This begs the question: was Cruella once secretly a rebellious teen obsessed with hair dye (mostly to annoy our parents) like the rest of us? Only time will tell…

Eating an apple on set, The Favourite actress showed that there was still comedy to be found in playing a villain as she stuck a slice of banana to her face to the amusement of the cast and crew.

Oh Emma, never change…

Ever since its launch at Disney’s D23 Exp, the excitement surrounding Cruella has been pretty intense. We honestly can’t wait to see it.

Starring alongside Emma’s fur-obsessed felon is an impressive cast including Paul Walter Hauser and Joel Fry as Cruella’s idiotic henchmen Jasper and Horace, while queen of everything Emma Thomson will be playing the Baroness. Yaaaas!

The spin-off, which is one in a long-line of Disney remakes, will be directed by the man behind Oscar-nominated film I, Tonya, Craig Gillespie.

Fans looking forward to getting a real glimpse of the young Cruella will have to be patient however, as the movie isn’t due for release in cinemas until May 28, 2021.

Good thing there are two animated movies and the Glen Close live-action remake to whet your appetite!
