Emma Stone slammed it to the left so hard at the Spice Girls Wembley concert the other week that she actually did herself a serious injury.

According to reports, the Hollywood star, who met her idols after the show, apparently fell off her friend’s shoulders while they were dancing and discovered a few days later that she’d broken her left shoulder.

Now it’s claimed that her part in Disney film Cruella in two months’ time could be called into question because the injury has left her on doctor-ordered bed rest.

A source told The Sun: ‘Emma is a massive Spice Girls fan and got carried away at their concert and fell off a pal’s shoulders while she was partying.

‘She thought it was just bruised initially, but has now discovered it’s actually broken.

‘She’s gutted about such a serious injury. She needs to be in top physical condition for the role, which is active and involves running around after dogs.’

After the show finished, Emma was pictured with her left arm in a supportive sling while she hugged Sporty Spice, Mel C.

Emma – whose real name is Emily – has been a Spice Girls fan for years.

Even as a child, she made people call her Emma so she could be more like her idol, Emma Bunton, who she got to meet for the first time at the Friday of their three-night stint at Wembley.

The La La Land star is back in the UK this summer to ‘throw her all’ into the origins story of 101 Dalmatians, in which she plays Cruella de Vil.

Early reports about the direction of the upcoming film hint that it will be set in the 1980s with ‘a punk vibe’.

The stylish character of Cruella was previously portrayed by Glenn Close in the two Disney-produced live-action adaptations in 1996 and 2000.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Emma is set to team up with I, Tonya director Craig Gillespie to make the movie after Mozart of the Jungle co-creator Alex Timbers pulled out.

Cruella is slated for release on December 23, in 2020.
