Emma Mackey Celebrates Our Planet During A Night At The Natural History Museum

Earlier this year, Sex Education’s Emma Mackey was initiated into Olivier Rousteing’s Balmain gang, and she was invited to sit on the front row of London Fashion Week’s most-buzzed-about autumn/winter 2019 shows. Her style credentials have kept on growing. On April 4, the actor wore a red Alberta Ferretti gown to the premiere of Sir David Attenborough’s Our Planet, and looked every inch the red carpet star she has become in a short space of time.

Held at the Natural History Museum, Mackey paired the dress with Cartier jewels and metallic heels. She joined the likes of Prince Harry and Prince William at the celebratory evening focused on the new TV series and Attenborough’s incredible body of work, too.

Due to air on Netflix on April 5, One Planet, Seven Worlds, comprises five parts, with one-hour episodes. “Each one-hour episode will transport viewers to a single continent and tell the story of its spectacular wildlife and iconic landscapes,” the BBC said earlier this year. Created in partnership with the World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF), the landmark programme was filmed across 50 countries with more than 500 members of crew. If it’s anything like Blue Planet, we’ll all be hooked.
