Emily Ratajkowski gets cheeky in Inamorata bikini after sharing throwback at age 14

Emily Ratajkowski has no shame when it comes to flaunting her enviable assets.

And the 28-year-old model remained true to her mantra when she shared a pair of sultry snapshots modeling a suit from her intimates brand Inamorata while in the Maldives.

Earlier in the day, Ratajkowski posted a throwback picture to her personal Instagram page that gave fans a never-before-seen look at the model’s 14-year-old self.

It appears as if Emily is always ready for a photo shoot.

And with the launch of her brand Inamorata over the Summer, she’s had plenty more reason to step in front of the camera.

The natural beauty stood among a luxury pool-side cabana, as she donned the latest Inamorata Olas bikini set.

Her beach waves and seamless tan were highlighted by the suit’s unique orange color.

The thong-style bikini bottoms and strappy bikini top are sold separately on the brand’s website and retail for $75 a piece.

Emily created the intimates brand with fashion designer and best friend, Kat Mendenhall, and the intent for the collection was to allow customers to mix-and-match pieces to their liking.

Ratajkowski, raised in Southern California, emphasized that her brand’s mission is to encourage women to reject the ‘tired old myths about body image’ and wear clothing that makes them feel good.

Ratajkowski, though she has been involved in the misogynistic world of fashion modeling for many years, has always considered herself to be a staunch feminist and activist.

In a post to her personal Instagram page just hours before her Inamorata bikini pictures, the model used her personal Instagram page to write out a lengthy caption pertaining to her belief in the importance of knowledge and self worth over the unhealthy fixation on societal ‘sexiness.’

Along with Ratajkowski’s introspective text, she shared a snapshot of herself on the beach in California at the young age of 14.

The shocking image shows the then child model rocking toned abdominal muscles and showcasing a straight-on view of her natural frame. 

In the post, she explained that she ‘used to like showing people this photo of [herself] at 14 to prove that [her] body is natural,’ since she has often had to defend her breast size.

But, looking back at her past actions, the California-native admits that she’s ‘sad’ that this photo even exists in the world in the first place.

‘I was just a kid in this picture and I wish the world had encouraged my 14-year-old self to be more than just my body.’

‘Luckily I have discovered the parts of me that are so much more important than sexiness,’ she continued. 

Emily defended her confidence and sex-positive attitude that is often displayed on her Instagram page, but urged the young fans that follow her to ‘read lots of books’ and know that what they see on Instagram ‘is just a very small fraction of complete and beautifully complex human beings.’ 

Friends in support: After follow celebrities read through Emily’s thoughful post, they were quick to show their support

Soon after the model shared her brave post to Instagram, she received an outpouring of love and support from her famous friends.

Singer Selena Gomez, commented a trio of ‘clapping hand’ emojis.

While Instagram model Chantel Jeffries and Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi noted how much they ‘loved’ Emily’s message.
