Emily Maitlis, Kay Burley and Mishal Hussain in far cry from hosting BBC in glam shoot

They also discussed their initial reaction to Rishi kickstarting the election race in a speech outside Downing Street in the pouring rain on May 22.

“He looked like a drowned rat,” Kay quipped to the magazine.

The award-winning journalist, who has worked with Sky News since it launched in 1989, also revealed she was once offered a job as a prime minister’s spokesperson, but brutally told the unnamed politician at the time: “Why don’t you win first, and then we’ll have a chat?”

Each of the women looked sensational in their glam looks as they worked the camera for a series of stunning solo shots.

Kay wowed in a full-length burgundy velvet number that flaunted her curves and featured dramatic tulle sleeves.

Emily looked equally as stunning in a satin bardot gown that showed off her trim figure as she rocked a big bouncy blowdry and bold glam.

And Mishal certainly didn’t disappoint with her look either, as the BBC news presenter oozed pure class in a crisp white blouse which was paired with a pastel yellow maxi skirt.

The three women also channelled their inner cover girl for a group shot as they all looked beautiful in another set of jaw-dropping looks.
