Emily Eavis has spilled the beans on the Glastonbury 2020 lineup and it’s sounding pretty epic already.

The Somerset arts festival celebrates its 50th anniversary next year and is promising to put on its most spectacular show to date in celebration. Given the lineup they always get, we can definitely believe it.

Speaking to presenter Jo Whiley at BBC Introducing Live in London, festival organiser Emily gave away a couple of massive hints about the lineup for the sold out festival.

‘Two of the Glastonbury Pyramid headliners have not done the festival before,’ one fan reported Emily to have told the audience, leaving us all kinds of excited.

Could this mean bookies’ fave Taylor Swift, who has never played the festival before and will be performing either side of the festival weekend? We can only dream!

But it sounds like it’s not just the Pyramid stage which will feature world class talent, with Emily reportedly telling the crowds that: ‘The Other Stage headliners are Pyramid level.’

Just when we thought we couldn’t get any more excited…

Metro.co.uk has approached Glastonbury for comment.

One band whose name has long been bandied around in relation to Glastonbury is Fleetwood Mac, but Emily recently admitted that 2020 would sadly not be the Rumours band’s year.

‘They are a band I’d love to have at Glastonbury,’ she said of the Go Your Own Way singers.

‘I’ve always been quite open about the fact that we would really love to have them. I’m so hopeful that one day they will do it. But it’s not going to happen for 2020, forget it. I’m sorry.’

However, fans need not worry, as Diana Ross (yes, THE Diana Ross) will be following in Kylie Minogue’s footsteps and taking on the Sunday afternoon Legends slot.

Elsewhere, Mike Skinner confirmed that he would be performing at the festival too, with The Streets frontman revealing he would be DJing at the event on his Instagram.

Now all we need to do is magically get tickets…
