Emilia Clarke’s Game of Thrones prank: Daenerys Targaryen turns into Jon Snow in HILARIOUS prank video

Emilia Clarke has officially channelled her inner Jon Snow.

The English actress, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, was inspired by her HBO co-star Kit Harington as she hit the streets of New York City.

Clarke pulled on a black curly wig resembling her on-screen beau’s iconic locks, a matching bushy beard and a fur-collar cape similar to the staple character’s usual attire.

Unveiling the look whilst adopting a thick Northern accent in the YouTube video for Omaze, Clarke announced: “Jon Snow! Yeah! The shop was out of Daenerys costumes because they’re sold out. I am Jon Snow and I’m gonna go into Times Square.”

She then proceeded to quiz a number of people on the “way to the North” before asking one person if they’d like to watch the final episode with her, before being shut down because they’re a “Walking Dead fan”.

A later clip shows her get completely rejected by two cosplay actors dresses as Daenerys and Jon.

Clarke then attempted to ask a string of people about the show, who savagely expressed their disinterest in the hit series.

The epic prank comes as part of Clarke’s campaign to raise money for her charity SameYou, which helps rehabilitate young people after brain injury or stroke, by offering fans of the show the chance to watch the final episode with her.

Earlier this week Clarke defended her character’s lack of concern after finding out she is in fact related to love interest Jon.

During last week’s episode, Daenerys learned that she had been in an incestuous relationship with her nephew.

The dramatic scene saw her barely react and instead express concern for her claim to the Iron Throne.

Speaking about the scene, Clarke told Entertainment Weekly: “The related thing, to her, is so normal. She could have easily married her brother [Viserys]. It’s not a thing. It’s a thing for Jon, but let’s just forget about that! The main thing is we’re up for the same promotion and I’ve been working for it for my entire existence.”

Game of Thrones continues on Mondays on Sky Atlantic at 2am and 9pm and is available to stream on NOW TV.
