Emilia Clarke: ‘I didn’t tell anyone’ Game of Thrones actress addresses HBO series secret

Game Of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke, 32, said she is struggling to keep the ending of the final HBO series a secret and has told her mum. Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this month, she went on to say she would probably slip up about the ending to others. But earlier this week, Emilia proudly told her fans she didn’t reveal anything she shouldn’t when she attended the TIME 100 gala. At the star-studded event, the actress stood out in a striking red ball gown.

She also crossed paths with some of her co-stars including Richard Madden, 32, on the red carpet.

Emilia shared two pictures of her time at the event on her Instagram page with 20.6 million followers.

The brunette beauty beamed for the pictures posing confidently with her hand on her hips.

In a lengthy caption, Emilia described her night as “a dream” before proudly saying she didn’t tell anyone the ending.

She commented: “Yes @time and I both called in the morning to make sure we would be colour coordinated.

“A DREAM of a night, thought provoking powerful insightful humans wanting to make a difference, and then dance.”

She then jokingly added: “And I didn’t tell anyone how @gameofthrones ends! Success all round.”

Emilia concluded her caption by praising her team of “perfect legends” for her vibrant look.

Many of the star’s social media fans flocked to her page to comment.

One user wrote: “You are the most beautiful woman.”

A second commented: “You looks so gorgeous as hell!!”

A third penned: “Queen of the TIME 100 gala.”

Earlier this month, Emilia spoke of her frustration at keeping upcoming scenes under wraps..

Stephen Colbert, 54, asked her if it was frustrating not being able to talk about it, to which she replied: “Deeply!”

“I can’t wait for this to be out,” she added.

“I’m just going to say it I know it! At one point, it’s going to come out on live television.”

Game of Thrones season 8 airs on HBO in the US on Sundays 9pm ET and on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK on Mondays at 2am and 9pm BST.
