Emilia Clarke and Emma Thompson have got us all in the Christmas spirit early as they looked to be loving life turning on the Covent Garden lights.

The dynamic duo, who are starring together in new festive flick Last Christmas, giggled away as they turned the lights on together by pressing a huge button.

As if that wasn’t joyful enough, they were covered in fake snow, before giving everyone a rendition of Last Christmas.

Watch out Mariah Carey – these two are coming for your Christmas throne.

Wrapping up for the cold, they both looked stunning as the Game Of Thrones star rocked a festive red lipstick with sparkly earrings while the Love Actually actress went all out with her bright pink hair.

10/10, would Christmas again.

The pair have become close over the course of filming the upcoming Christmas flick, seeming inseparable at the premiere.

Despite the movie receiving lukewarm reviews all over the world, the pair ignored the drama and looked thrilled as they hugged it out on the red carpet.

However, if there’s one thing Emilia can’t ignore when it comes to her new movie, it’s people dropping spoilers.

Speaking to IndieWire, the 33-year-old said: ‘It’s b****y annoying. Frustrating. It’s more complicated than people are guessing.’

It’s not the fact that people are theorising the plot twist online, the star just doesn’t like people thinking the movie is that easy to guess when Emma Thompson and husband Greg Wise worked on the script so carefully.

‘Emma and Greg wrote this script together,’ Emilia said. ‘But they sent the script to all of their friends and it was only ready when their friends didn’t see the twist coming and couldn’t guess until it happens, so that’s where if comes from.

‘It’s just frustrating.’

Duly noted.

It was also revealed that, before writing the movie, Emma got George’s blessing.

Speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the 60-year-old said: ‘He was just the loveliest guy you could imagine. ‘=[He loved] all of these themes in the movie; he was passionate about homelessness, and he had this great social conscience.’

Last Christmas hits cinemas on 15 November.
