Elvis Presley's wife Priscilla Presley on her AFFAIR and the man the King 'wanted to kill'

Elvis Presley met Priscilla Presley when he was 24-years-old — already a superstar and serving in the US Armed Forces — and she was just 14. A year later she moved in with him in his lavish Memphis home. Priscilla maintains they didn’t have sex until they were married eight years later.

Once the couple tied the knot in 1967, it was nine months to the day until she gave birth to their daughter Lisa Marie Presley.

After Lisa Marie was born, however, Elvis lost interest in sex with his wife.

“Elvis had a hard time dealing with mother and the little girl that I was to him,” Priscilla explained in a 1985 interview with Barbara Walters.

“I didn’t know it then but that’s how I finally realised in later years he was a father to me; he was my mentor.”

“To show any kind of vulnerability or insecurity to me was not macho,” she continued.

Their relationship began to break down, with the actress recalling: “Our communication was horrible, it was terrible.”

Elvis was also seeing other women and, in his absence, Priscilla turned to her own hobbies to keep busy.

She started karate lessons with martial artist and stuntman Mike Stone and before long the pair started an affair.

Barbara noted that, at the time, it was alleged Elvis wanted his wife’s new man killed.

Asked if it was true, Priscilla replied: “I think at that time, yes, he wanted that to happen.”

But she clarified the Blue Suede Shoes hitmaker never did anything to act on that desire.

“A lot of it was talk, anger, talking out of emotion,” she said.

Of her affair with Mike, she told Ladies Home Journal: “He’s very much of a man to me and treats me like a woman.

“I would never go with a guy who wasn’t boss,” she added. “I mean the man would definitely have to be the more dominant person.”

In contrast to her relationship with Elvis, she said her romance with Mike was much more “flexible” due to his schedule.

“We both enjoy riding, and have horses, which we keep at the stables in Huntington Beach,” she said.

Priscilla continued to date Mike after her divorce from Elvis in 1973 but their relationship didn’t last.
