After his death, Elvis was interred in a mausoleum in Forest Hills Cemetery in Memphis and his mother’s body moved from her original gravesite to be there with him.
Months later, following reports of an attempt to tamper with the grace, both Elvis and his mother were moved to the Meditation garden at Graceland.
Nowadays, the King rests there with both his parents, Gladys and Vernon Presley, as well as his grandmother, Minnie Mae Presley.
The Meditation Garden also features a memorial for his twin brother, Jessie Garon Presley, who died at birth.
