On May 1, 1967, Elvis Presley married Priscilla Beaulieu at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. And now the official documents including the bill, have been unearthed. Such a find dispels the myths surrounding the costings of Elvis wedding.
In a new video, Billy Stallings Spa Guy interviewed Jon Daly of The Elvis Pawn Shop who has come into possession of the Aladdin Hotel receipts.
Some fans believed Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding cake cost $3200, but the bill reveals it was only a modest $200.
Meanwhile, the judge who married them saw his fee – which including food and transportation – cost just $400.
And the aeroplane charter was less expensive than expected at $1741.

What is particularly fascinating is that the mega-wealthy Elvis did not actually pay for his wedding.
Daly said: “Colonel got William Morris Agency to pick up the cheque for that.”
Apparently William Morris was a management agency who the Colonel went through to arrange Elvis’ Hollywood movie roles.
In total, Elvis’ wedding cost just under $11,000, which may surprise some fans at how little it cost him.
Elvis was married to Priscilla from 1967 until their divorce in 1973.
Last year, the 74-year-old revealed how private The King of Rock and Roll was.
She told Heart 70s: “We didn’t document our life, we lived our life. He was so private.
“Social media would never be his thing.”
Priscilla added: “He loved his privacy, and with his posse and their wives.”
In taking photographs, Priscilla said: “He was pretty strict about anyone with a camera. He did not want photos taken.
“He had enough of that outside the gates of Graceland. That was really his private life.
“The photos we took were family photos, nothing he would be upset over, as trust me, he would tell you!”
