Elvis’ father famously lived and worked at Graceland with his son.

While Colonel Tom Parker was very much The King’s manager, it was Vernon who handled his personal business.

This included Elvis’ personal finances, the Graceland staff and the estate itself.

Today the Memphis mansion is owned by his only child Lisa Marie and has been a museum since 1982.

Right now Graceland is closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
