Elvis Presley SECRETS: The King’s favourite music revealed in new Inside Graceland video

The King’s home of Graceland may have had to temporarily close due to the coronavirus, but the museum is keeping fans entertained with videos from inside. The latest sees Director of Archives Angie Marchese broadcasting from Elvis Presley’s TV room. There she’s been taking fans through the singer’s vinyl record collection; revealing what he loved to listen to.

The cheerful Angie said: “I thought you guys might wanna see some of the music Elvis would listen to.

“Elvis really didn’t like listening to himself but he loved listening to other artists.”

The Director of Archives then went on to take fans through The King’s record collection.

She began with Dolly Parton’s A Country Girl Goes Home.

Speaking of which, Graceland has floodlit the front of the Memphis mansion in the red, white and blue of the American flag.

The second most visited home in the USA after the White House will keep this up for as long as it’s forced to remain closed.

Elvis fans can check out a live cam of the patriotic shot on the official Graceland website.

Earlier this week, the Tennessee museum extended its shut down to April 19.

Originally, Graceland hoped to reopen on April 4, but now it’s aiming for April 20.

Of course, this could very well be extended again considering the scale of the coronavirus pandemic across the USA.

Elvis’s home wrote in a statement: “From our Graceland Family to yours, we wish everyone around the world health and happiness.

“We look forward to welcoming you back to Graceland soon.”
