Elton John hurls bag off private jet during tantrum after calling security 'c***s'

Elton John appeared to have experienced a rough ride as his private jet landed at Sydney airport on Monday.

The hitmaker, 72, seemed angered as he was seen, in a video clip, hurling his Gucci designer bag out of the plane and down the stairs as he emerged from the jet and got into a people carrier vehicle to be driven off the runway.

One of Sir Elton’s staff appeared to catch the expensive weekend bag as it came hurtling through the air.

The British native, who is currently touring on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, shaded his eyes with coloured glasses and was dressed for the trip in a bright tracksuit.

It comes after he launched into an expletive rant on stage at Perth’s HBF Park Stadium on Saturday night.

The Your Song musician branded two security guards “c***s” and “turds” and told them to “f*** off” when he saw them removing a woman from the venue.

Elton can be heard shouting in footage, shared on micro-blogging site Twitter : “Hey, you two security guards with the girl, f*** off!

“Let her up here immediately… come on, you c***s. Morons, both of you, morons.

“You don’t treat girls like that. Leave her alone you turds.”

The audience seemed to support his sweary outburst as it was met with cheers and clapping.

Elton’s tantrum comes after the singer admitted in his memoir Me that he was consumed by addiction for years and would binge on cocaine ‘until I was absolutely certain there was no cocaine anywhere in the vicinity.’

But before acknowledging that drug abuse was slowly killing him, Elton says he looked to cocaine to fuel his insatiable sexual appetite.

“I found it was an aphrodisiac, which is strange, because for most people it kills the erection side of things completely,” he writes.

“Never a problem for me, I’m afraid. Quite the opposite. If I took enough coke I could stay hard for days,” he added.

The Rocketman singer said the drug opened his mind to new sexual experimentation.

“It takes all the inhibitions out of people. Even straight guys sometimes,” he recalls.

Elton said that the Hollywood mansion he purchased in 1975 became the backdrop for many of his sex parties.

“I mostly used the snooker room to seduce guys. Strip snooker! It usually seemed to do the trick, especially after a couple of lines of coke,” he says.

Elton added that sometimes he wouldn’t take part and would sit and observe other men instead: “I just watched, took Polaroids, organised things.”

Despite giving up drugs and booze a long time ago, Elton said he still has recurring nightmares about his former addiction.

“When I wake up, I can almost feel the numbing sensation of the coke sliding down the back of my throat — always the part of doing it that I hated — and I just think ‘thank God that’s over.'”
