Superstar chart topper Ellie Goulding made a slightly unusual fashion choice for her latest show.
Yet somehow she pulled it off and looks amazing.
The Love Me Like You Do singer took to the stage in Arlington, Texas on Thanksgiving last Thursday wearing none other than a lampshade hat.
We sort of love it?
Ellie, 32, was performing at the half time of an NFL football game between the Buffalo Bills and the Dallas Cowboys, going full out cowgirl for the occasion.
She shared a snap of her in the hat, which she’d paired with a cool black and white outfit, including trousers and a cropped shirt, on Instagram with the simple comment, ‘Dallas, baby’.
People were having a field day about the whole look on Twitter.
Some were convinced that Ellie was channeling the singer-songwriter Sia, who’s famous for the hat lampshade look.
Some were simply intrigued by what Ellie was wearing and why she’d gone for that look, while others just hands-down loved it.
To be fair though, Ellie’s been quite experimental with her looks in the past and it really works.
Back in September she was papped with Sir Paul McCartney at Paris Fashion Week wearing an incredible white playsuit.
And at her wedding to Caspar Jopling in September she wore four dresses during the course of the day, all of them very different designs.
