Elizabeth Hurley and her 'sister in rare bikini snap

Elizabeth Hurley shared a rare snap of her ‘glorious’ sister as they posed in matching bikinis on Instagram on Friday to promote her swimwear line.

The 55-year-old swimwear designer looked incredible in a pink paisley print triangle bikini which had a ring detail at the front as she put her arm around her sibling.

Her older sister, Kate Curran, wore a matching two-piece in pink which had a gold chain detail at the cleavage.

Elizabeth wrote: ‘Me and my glorious sister during lockdown this summer, flying the Elizabeth Hurley Beach flag.

‘When we were growing up, we were always dressed in identical clothes but in pink or blue, so we secretly still love matching.’

Her good friend David Furnish, 58, wrote in the comments: ‘We love the Strumpette!! ❤️❤️.’

While Elizabeth has raised in the eyebrows in the past that her son Damian, 18, takes many of her bikini photos for Instagram, she recently said Kate does too.

She told Hello! ‘He doesn’t take all my bikini photos. Some of them are professional, some of them are by my sister.’

Elizabeth had seven people staying with her at her £6million Hertfordshire mansion during the first UK lockdown earlier this year.

She had son Damian, 18, mother Angela, 79, Kate, her son Miles, a friend who was considered high risk and other family members.

In 2018, Kate’s son Miles was ‘millimetres from death’ when he was stabbed in London. Elizabeth recalled how he lost six pints of blood after being attacked following a collision in his mother’s Fiat 500, but he has since recovered.

The day before, Elizabeth was once again giving her followers their daily dose of bikini action as she shared her latest sizzling snap on social media.

The Bedazzled actress looked showstopping in a coral two-piece which showed off her taut abs to perfection.

Elizabeth looked incredible in the swimwear from her eponymous line.

She let her brunette tresses fall in loose waves over her shoulder for the ultimate beach babe look and smouldered into the camera.

It comes after Elizabeth compared her lockdown experience to an episode of The Waltons after she spent the period with family at her £6million mansion.

She spent 16 weeks holed up at the Herefordshire estate in a group of nine, including her elder sister Kate, son Damian, 18, mother Angela, 80, and vulnerable friends.

Appearing on an episode of Lorraine, Liz told stand-in host Christine Lampard: ‘It was like The Waltons! We had nine of us, but I was the only one who left in 16 weeks to do a brief raid on the shops.’

Much-loved family drama The Waltons ran from 1971 to 1981 (with three subsequent movie spin-offs) and revolved around the tight-knit clan’s lives on a Virginia mountain during the Depression and the Second World War.

The show was such an example for American family life at the time, that President George Bush once even said in a speech in 1992 that he wished to make families in the United States ‘more like the Waltons and less like the Simpsons’.

Elizabeth revealed that her household took things back to basics for lockdown, much like The Waltons, explaining: ‘We all stayed safe and then we had to just get on, find a way to make it work.

‘There was manual labour, not allowed TV until 6PM. We were all outside – we had beautiful weather in the UK – sweeping up, clipping, attacking things with a chainsaw, making the outside beautiful, growing veg…

‘We all got healthier. We ate quite a lot but there was the manual labour!’

Liz added: ‘We were very nervous about health, there were elderly women and a friend with low immunity who had to be kept safe. We were just nervous and scared the whole time’.
