Edwin van der Sar makes U-turn over director of football role at Man Utd

Edwin van der Sar has labelled Manchester United a “fantastic club” and says everybody wants to play and work for them.

The Ajax chief executive officer has previously been linked with a return to United, who are keen on hiring a very first director of football.

The Dutchman has since backtracked a little, hinting he would be very keen on a return.

Although, he has also made it clear he wants to gain more experience at Ajax first before taking the leap and joining Manchester United.
