Eden Hazard says winning Europa League would be ‘perfect’ way to bow out of Chelsea

Eden Hazard says winning the Europa League would be the perfect way to say goodbye to Chelsea .

Chelsea superstar Hazard, 28, wants to move to Real Madrid this summer and the final is expected to be his last game before a £90m move to Spain this summer.

When asked if beating Arsenal in the all-Premier League match in Azerbaijan would be the perfect way to bow out, Hazard admitted: “Yes.

“I just want to win the trophy that is it. It does not matter in the game if I score or I do not score. If it is my last game I hope to bring the trophy.

“I don’t know when something happens. At the moment nothing happen. So I can say nothing.”

Hazard has been at Chelsea since 2012

Hazard has just one year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge and is desperate to play for his boyhood hero Zinedine Zidane with Chelsea resigned to losing their biggest star.

Real Madrid are certain to drive a hard bargain but Hazard made it clear he wants it sorted out and is hopeful it will be done despite Chelsea’s impending transfer ban.

“It’s in the hands of the clubs,” said Hazard.

“Honestly, I don’t feel like talking about it right now. There’s a lovely match next week. It’s not in my head right now: I stay, I go…”

“Of course I can put it aside. How long do you know me now, guys? You know how I am. I have done it during a full season right now, and I have played reasonably well.

Hazard is expected to complete a move to Real Madrid after the Europa League final

“So I stay in that modus: just thinking about football. After the final we will see what happens.

Hazard admitted it will be hard to stay but also reaffirmed that he would never play for another Premier League club.

“A year is long, no. (starts giggling). That’s a difficult one to answer.

“No chance (will I play for another English club). I am a Blue! It means a lot to me.

“I can not play for another club in the country.”
