Ed Sheeran might be on hiatus, but the man doesn’t know the meaning of ‘time off’, as he’s been busier than ever while not on tour.
The South Of The Border star revealed what he’s been up to in his 18-month break from touring, and he’s learned a new talent and started a business with a mate. As you do…
Ed revealed that he and his manager have opened a bar called Bertie Blossoms in London and invited fans to come and check it out.
He wrote: ‘Me and @stuartcamp73 have opened up our own bar in London. It’s called @bertie_blossoms, and it’s on Portobello road, opposite Pizza East.
‘Good beer & good food. Pop in when you have time, hope you like it!’
As well as becoming a bar owner, Ed’s also been unleashing his creative side in the form of abstract artwork – though we’re a little concerned for his walls with all the paint flicking going on…
Ed revealed some of his latest pieces, which consist of large canvases covered in splatters of paint, as he admitted this type of art is totally new to him.
He told his followers: ‘Spent an entire month since tour ended painting, which I’ve never done before. Had so much fun doing it.
‘If I’m honest I felt a bit useless once tour had ended, coz singing, writing and gigging is all I’ve ever known, so it’s nice to find a new way to be creative.
‘I’d recommend anyone getting a few paints and having a splash around, it’s so fun. Righto – back to hibernation x’
In one of the photos he shared, Ed could be seen with a blank canvas in front of him and the wall and cupboards behind him covered in splashes of paint, so it looks like there is even more painting to come… but this time with a roller and a jumbo tub of emulsion.
Earlier this month, Ed also took to the stage as a special guest at Khalid’s show at London’s O2, further proving he’s never not working.
Someone book this man a couple of weeks in an all-inclusive resort so he can finally put his feet up…
