Selena Gomez has confessed that Ed Sheeran once made her soil her pants with excitement – and he doesn’t even know.
Well, that is until now.
When appearing on KISS FM, the 27-year-old was coaxed into playing a game of Liar Liar where the hosts, Tom Green and Daisy Maskell, had to guess which of her three stories were true.
But despite throwing them off their scent with an elaborate wedding cake tale, it turns out she actually soiled herself at an Ed Sheeran concert.
Retelling the saga, the Lose You to Love Me hitmaker laughed: ‘Me and my friends, we love going to concerts back home and Ed Sheeran was playing at the Hollywood Bowl.
‘There was so much traffic and I was very uncomfortable down there, in that area. So I will say that it was the first time that I had maybe soiled my pants a bit.’
Explaining how she managed to cover up her accident, Selena giggled: ‘I was that excited that I didn’t want to leave, so I just put a little sweater at the bottom of me and made it through the concert.’
The star recently made her musical comeback where she performed on stage at the American Music Awards last month.
But despite singing some of her latest hits, it’s thought the singer suffered from a panic attack just moments before her slot.
According to People magazine, the Kill Em With Kindness songstress was overcome with anxiety on the night.
A source told the publication: ‘She definitely had a panic attack. She was nervous. She hasn’t been on stage in two years, and it’s an important song in her career. She really wanted to deliver.’
While another insider claimed to E! News: ‘Selena definitely had anxiety and a panic attack before she went out and was putting a lot of pressure on herself.’
Following her return, Selena took to Instagram where she told her 162million followers how good it was to finally be back.
Sharing a picture of herself attending the red carpet at the lavish ceremony, she said: ‘Feels good to be back.
‘Thank you to my entire team and to my fans that stand by me. All of this is for you and because of you. excited for this chapter #sg2 @amas.’
