EastEnders’ Stacey and Martin could be ending their romance as the iconic Stacey Fowler might be planning on leaving for good.
Next week is set to see things start to look up for Martin Fowler (James Bye) after months of being tormented by Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) over Stacey’s involvement with Phil’s attack.
Fans saw Martin desperately trying to steer his wife and children away from Albert Square as a result of the danger their in.
He lied to Stacey (Lacey Turner) saying he had a one night stand with ex-wife Sonya Fowler.
In a future plot, Ben will start to feel sorry for Martin, as he sees how tortured he is.
Stacey has been away from the beloved soap since July.
With Martin beginning to feel better about his situation, he attempts to reunite with her.
However, he can’t seem to get in contact with his estranged wife.
Martin becomes paranoid that something else is going on, and storms over to the Slater residence.
He finds Jean and Mo packing Stacey’s belongings.
Could this mean that Stacey is leaving Watford for good?
Lacey, 31, is currently taking a break from playing the role of Stacey as she welcomed her baby girl Dusty into the world in July.
She’s enjoying her maternity leave alongside partner Matt, but it is thought she’s filmed a few scenes set to air this month.
It’s been speculated that she will make a full-time return later next year.
