EastEnders spoilers: Will Hunter Owen kill Jack Branning in Mel Owen twist?

EastEnders fans were left shocked when Hunter Owen (played by Charlie Winter) was locked up behind bars for the murder of Ray Kelly (Sean Mahon).

The terrifying teenager shot his would-be father in the forest after he had been messing on with Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite).

Although he was firmly sent to prison for his part in the crime, it seems Hunter will escape in the coming weeks.

Mel gets the news from authorities that Hunter has run away and she naturally becomes nervous.

Mel is worried for the safety of her boy and does her best to keep him hidden.

But, news travels fast and it isn’t soon before long all of Walford know all of the family drama.

Mel gets stopped by Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean), Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) and Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden), who all want to offer their support.

However, the one who really hurts is Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) when he stops after spotting she is upset.

Obviously, with Hunter being a fugitive on the run, everyone finding out can only mean he is a ticking time bomb in Walford.

To make matters worse, Mel gets a visit from the police who deliver some shocking news.

While details are being kept under tight wraps, they will deliver some news about his escape that changes everything.

But more importantly, fans will be wondering exactly what business Hunter has in Albert Square.

Will he get revenge on those who had a problem with him?

In particular, Jack should be looking over his shoulder with caution as he was the one who played a significant role in his arrest.

Will Hunter kill him off after making a shocking return to the Square?

Meanwhile, it seems Bobby Beale (Clay Milner Russell) could be reunited with Jane Beale (Laurie Brett) in the coming weeks

The reformed murderer is struggling to cope with the fact he is now living back in the house he killed his sister in.

After seeing Lucy Beale’s (Hetti Bywater) ghost, the youngster has been pretty torn up.

However, a TV source has told The Sun Bobby’s exit is imminent: “Bobby’s really struggling with what he’s done and his visions of Lucy are only going to get worse.

“He revisits Walford common where her body was dumped hoping to find some closure but in the end it’s too much.

“He decides the only thing he can do is run away and leave Walford behind forever.”

EastEnders continues tomorrow on BBC at 7.30pm.
