EastEnders spoilers: Vincent Hubbard to return in dark Ben Mitchell revenge plot?

EastEnders has been full of drama over the past few weeks, and it mostly down to Ben Mitchell’s (played by Max Bowden) return to the BBC soap.

The character has returned to the soap, and it’s been revealed that he had a dark plan to get his revenge on his father, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

In scenes that aired last week, Ben told his cousin Lola (Danielle Harold) that he plans to build up his father and then take everything from him.

However, viewers are now wondering whether the soap will see Vincent Hubbard (Richard Blackwood) return to help Ben bring Phil down.

This theory was suggested by a number of fans on Twitter who seem pretty keen on the idea of seeing Richard Blackwood return to the soap.

One viewer wrote: “I wonder we’ll finally get the Vincent reveal when all the Mitchell stuff comes to a head. Ben’s plan, Sheanu and Vincent all combine to bring Phil down.”

Another pleaded: “Can we PLEASE get something in Vincent.”

One more fan demanded: “Bring back Vincent! #EastEnders”

Another fan added: “Miss Vincent wish they would bring him back #EastEnders.”

Fans are still unsure what happened to Vincent in the BBC soap, with some believing he was killed and others have suggested that he just ran away.

Some viewers have suggested that Phil might have killed him. However, Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) has been pining after her former lover ever since he disappeared.

With Kim now deciding to sell their house and move on, and Ben’s new revenge plot against Phil, there couldn’t be a better time for Vincent to come back into the picture.

Kim was even seen looking at pictures on her phone of Vincent with their kids, and she was agitated, finally deciding to remove her wedding ring and put it on top of the fridge.

All of this seems to be pointing towards Vincent’s return to the soap which fans would be excited to see.

Meanwhile, Ben eventually revealed to Lola his dark plan to make sure they can enact their revenge upon the BBC soap hard man.

“So, you’re staying then?” Lola asks after Phil told Ben he was ‘skint’, to which Ben replied: “We are.”

“How long,” Lola added, and Ben replied: “As long as it takes.”

Later on, Ben revealed his plan to Lola, saying: “Taking him down is too easy.

“He’s already at rock bottom. I don’t just want his money.

“I want his happiness. His dignity. I want to build him back up, look him in the eye the moment he’s got everything he’s ever wanted, and then I’m going to take it from him,” he finished.

EastEnders continues Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One.
