EastEnders spoilers: Sharon Mitchell’s affair finally revealed in explosive Mel bombshell?

EastEnders resident Sharon Mitchell (played by Letitia Dean) could be in for trouble as her affair with Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) is set to be exposed by vengeful Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite). Reaching breaking point, Sharon begins to crumble under the pressure, but will the truth finally come out?

Viewers have watched as Sharon and Keanu engaged a steamy affair right under their partners noses and it looked like they’d gotten away with it.

But things took a turn for the worst when Mel learnt the truth that Sharon’s unborn baby wasn’t her husband’s Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) after all, and she’s been holding it over poor Sharon ever since.

Fans know it’s not wise to cross Phil, so it’s only natural that they feel a little concerned about cheating Sharon and Keanu’s welfare.

Famous for acting erratically, the Walford bad boy is not scared of breaking the law, so what will he do to Sharon, Keanu and the baby if he finds about about their betrayal?

In scenes that aired on Monday evening, Sharon arrives back from holiday without Phil who’s still conducting business abroad, to find out that Mel intends on selling the club to Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton).

Although unhappy with the decision, Sharon is at a cross roads – does she comply with Mel’s deranged threats or risk her blabbing the truth?

In upcoming scenes on the BBC soap, Sharon panics when Phil calls her after Mel tells him about the plans for the E20 and he’s on his way back to Walford.

Is this the end of the road for Sharon and her secret?

Elsewhere on the Square, Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) was left distraught on Monday when husband Martin Fowler (James Edward Bye) lied about sleeping with his ex, Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) in a bid to protect her from the trouble he’s gotten himself into

Emotionally distraught, Martin told Stacey not to return to Walford, throwing his wedding ring on the bed.

Reaching for her phone, she rang her mum, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) and said: “Mum, it’s me.”

Earlier in the episode, Jean bumped into Martin and quizzed him about the injures to his face.

“What’s happened to your face? Who’s hit you?” She asked, concerned.

“No one,” he stated, unable to look her in the eye.

“You’ve had a lot of bruises recently, what’s going on Martin?” she said.

After Stacey’s call, will Jean put two and two together and start questioning Martin about what is really going on?

In a huge plot twist, will Martin’s mother in law be the person to find out the truth and put a stop to his misery?

EastEnders returns tomorrow night at 7.30pm on BBC One.
