EastEnders spoilers: Sharon Mitchell and Keanu Taylor affair rumbled as old face returns?

Sharon (played by Letitia Dean) has of course tried to hide everything from her husband Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) on EastEnders.

However, it’s been hard to put the secret to bed because Sharon is now pregnant – but she doesn’t know who the daddy is.

The family is now set to be shaken up by the arrival of an old character on the BBC soap.

Phil’s ex Lisa Fowler (Lucy Benjamin) is returning to Albert Square and she may be the one to out the dangerous secret.

She’s coming back as her daughter Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper) is pregnant with Keanu Taylor’s (Danny Walters) baby.

The news of Lisa’s return was announced last month as the show tweeted: “Lisa Fowler is coming back to Albert Square! With Louise expecting her first child, she’ll want to be close by.

“How will Phil feel about that?! #EastEnders.”

With Lisa keeping a close eye on Louise, she’ll also undoubtedly be in near proximity to Keanu.

Could she notice something’s up as she keeps a watchful eye over the couple?

Keanu and Sharon will definitely have to be careful if they want to keep the secret under wraps.

Lisa will want to protect her daughter however, so may be cautious about what she does with the information if she does find out.

It appears as though scenes that are set to air next week will pave the way for Lisa’s comeback.

It unfolds as Louise starts to struggle at school as her peers mock her for being pregnant.

After Mel Owen (Tamzin Outhwaite), Lisa’s best pal, finds out she steps in to take Louise on a day out to lift her spirits.

But she senses something is wrong and urges Louise to open up to her.

Mel finds out that Lisa doesn’t know her daughter is pregnant and so encourages Louise to reach out. But will Louise take her advice?

This week on the programme, Sharon decided to take the steps to find out the paternity of her baby once and for all.

Viewers saw her send off DNA samples to a lab, but it remains to be seen what the result will be.

Sharon of course kept the test a secret from Phil and he doesn’t know she sent the kit off.

Will she be happy with the result?

EastEnders continues Monday at 8pm on BBC One.
