EastEnders spoilers: ‘I will riot’ Fans furious as Callum's death 'revealed' in trailer?

BBC bosses released another teaser trailer ahead of the EastEnders anniversary week, but fans have been left furious as they believe Callum Highway’s (played by Tony Clay) death has been confirmed ahead of the special episodes. One viewer was left saying they would riot if it had been given away after all the secrecy.

Viewers watched in horror over Christmas as all the Albert Square residents were drawn into Phil Mitchell’s (Steve McFadden) vendetta against Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).

Phil had his suspicions his pregnant wife Sharon (Letitia Dean) had been having an affair, but when he discovered it was Keanu he put out a hit on the young man.

Phil enlisted his son Ben (Max Bowden) to get rid of Keanu for good, but this put pressure on his relationship with Callum.

When Phil decided to flee the square with Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper), at the last minute Ben decided his relationship with Callum was too important to leave behind.

Keanu returned this week looking for revenge on the Mitchell men and took Callum hostage.

But Ben was stuck between his love for Callum and wanting to get rid of Keanu once and for all.

Keanu has demanded a huge amount of money from Ben so he can escape with Sharon once and for all, but Ben is struggling to acquire it.

He called on his dad to help, but when he wasn’t able to get hold of him, he was forced to start plotting to get his boyfriend back.

It seems Callum can be seen lying on the floor asking for help, but if Phil and Keanu are at the boat party, has Callum been left in the warehouse to die?

One viewer tweeted: “KEEP CALLUM SAFE PLEASE.”

Another added: “If anything, ANYTHING happens to callum or Ben, I will riot!!!.”

“Nah nah nah Callum better be safe or we riot” penned another.

But, some fans believe the man in the video asking for help is in fact Leo King (Tome Wells).

Viewers watched in horror last night as Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) stabbed Leo in the chest after months of harassment from the deranged Tony King’s (Chris Coghill) son.

Leo has been sleeping in Whitney’s loft for the last week leaving Whitney petrified after her house was trashed and a letter was stolen.

But last night Leo came looking for answers once and for all in an attempt to avenge his father – who killed himself in jail after raping Whitney when she was 12-years-old.

In upcoming scenes, Whitney will call Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) to help her decide what to do with Leo’s body, but who is asking for help in the video?

EastEnders continues on BBC One on Monday at 8pm.
