EastEnders spoilers: Bex Fowler tipped to LEAVE Walford following Shakil Kazemi tragedy

Spoiler photos of Bex Fowler (played by Jasmine Armfield) attending an opening day at Oxford University have emerged online.

Images show the step-daughter of Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) strolling around the prestigious school’s campus with a female companion.

In pictures obtained by The Sun, the youngster appears to have a disagreement with the women as she is captured yelling at her.

A second photograph shows the EastEnders resident deep in thought as she adjusts the straps on her handbag.

Bex will consider moving out of Walford after visiting the grave of Shakil Kazemi (Shaheen Jafargholi), The Sun has reported.

She is said to visit the cemetery with her former boyfriend’s brother, Kush (Davood Ghadami), in an upcoming episode of the BBC soap.

Teenager Shakil was murdered by a gang a year ago when thugs stabbed him to death, shedding light on the rising knife violence in London.

His funeral episode was shown in June and included accounts from relatives of real-life victims of knife crime.

At the time, EastEnders executive consultant, John Yorke, explained the importance of using real-life accounts.

He said: ”From the very beginning we were determined to treat the difficult subject of knife crime in a responsible, non-sensationalist way.

“We started out with detailed research and the more stories we heard, the more we felt other people should hear them too.”

“The episode gradually evolved into something unique for EastEnders – real families telling their own devastating stories alongside our own characters,” he added.

“We’ve tried to find a way to do justice to an incredibly difficult, tragic and emotive subject and with huge help from the families of real-life victims and the support groups they work with, we hope we’ve come some way to getting that enormity across.”

Actor Shaheen previously admitted filming the harrowing plot was “strange”, but said he was proud to be apart of the story.

In an interview with Digital Spy last year, he said: “As an actor, I was privileged to have a storyline with so much meaning underneath it and the chance to raise awareness about knife crime.

“It’s such an important issue to tackle.”

He went on to add: “It’s been a bit strange, because it’s nothing like I’ve ever experienced in my life.

“The most important part for me when it came to tackling how I was going to do it was making sure it was done as realistically as possible. That involved doing a lot of research.”

When asked about the responsibility of playing such an important role, he said: This is a massive responsibility for everyone involved in the storyline.

“Especially right now with how intense the problems of knife crime have become around the UK.

“I’m really pleased we’re doing this storyline, it’s so important.”

EastEnders airs continues tonight on BBC One at 7.30pm.
