EastEnders' Pam St Clement sees double as Loose Women ladies imitate Pat Butcher

EastEnders star Pam St Clement was one of the most iconic characters on the show thanks to her role as Pat Butcher.

Pat was killed off in 2012 after suffering from pancreatic cancer, and she’s been missed ever since her exit – and it seems she misses the show too.

Speaking on Loose Women today, she told the panel: “I do miss everybody, and I miss the programme.”

Luckily for Pam, her plea for the return of Pat Butcher didn’t go unnoticed, and two of the Loose ladies walked out dressed as her.

Brenda Edwards and Coleen Nolan wanted to brush up on their acting skills, and as a result turned to Pam to get the go-ahead.

With the classic fur coat and oversized earrings, Brenda walked out first, with Coleen following shortly afterwards.

Both ladies were dressed to the nines in full Pat Butcher-like fashion, and quoting some of her best lines, which definitely impressed Pam.

Although they weren’t armed with Pat’s sparring partner Peggy Mitchell, they did put on a good show, and Pam was left impressed with both of them.

The ladies had to give their best shocker storyline face, and even that couldn’t force Pam into a decision – so they both won.

However, no one could beat the real Pat Butcher, who gave her own Duff Duff moment and yelled at the camera: “Get out of my pub!”

As it’s Barbara Windsor’s iconic line, Pam added: “And that is a belated birthday message to Barbara.”

Pat and Peggy shared some of the biggest storylines in EastEnders, including an affair with Frank Butcher and Pat’s death.

Despite their love/hate relationship, the pair were best friends, and realised their close friendship in their latter years.

Pat returned as a memory during Peggy’s death after she ended her life following a lengthy battle with cancer.

Loose Women continues weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
