EastEnders Lola's sick Peter affair 'set to end in tragic Jay paternity riddle'

EastEnders ended in tragic fashion last night as Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) proposed to his girlfriend Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) after learning she is pregnant.

However, the EastEnders cast member brutally turned down his proposal, clearly thinking he was only doing it because she was expecting a child.

In a awkward moment, Jay brought up Lola’s flirty chat with Peter earlier in the episode, shouting: “Why don’t you run off and have his kids?”

Lola hit back: “Well if you want a baby so bad, maybe I’m not the right person for you.”

In a savage twist, the episode ended with Lola and Peter kissing outside of Ruby Allen’s flat, hinting they are about to sleep together.

Jay proposed to his girlfriend Lola in sad scenes last night as she turned him down

As furious fans scolded Lola for her behaviour, worrying about what Jay will do when he finds out, others predicted a much more heartbreaking twist.

One posted on social media: “Lola is going to make out she’s pregnant with tall Peter’s baby then?”

Another added: “Lola’s either gonna sleep with Peter and feel guilty so keeps the baby or Peter is gonna give her food for thought about the baby.”

Lola quickly ran into the arms of her ex Peter Beale as the soap hinted they will sleep together

However, others think that Peter is actually the father of Lola’s baby, and they may have been having a secret affair since he returned to Albert Square last month.

One posted: “Lola’s 2nd baby daddy is Peter, calling it.”

Another joked: “Jay saying to Lola why don’t you go off with peter and have his babies…awkward.”

Is Lola about to be caught in a huge paternity drama with Peter and Jay?

Could Lola be secretly pregnant with Peter’s baby, and is she going to come clean?

The expectant mother has made it clear that she wants to abort the child, telling Jay that she is not ready for another child after little Lexi, sparking the conflict between them.

But does she not want the child because she is worried it might not be Jay’s?

EastEnders continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on BBC.
