EastEnders actress Letita Dean has spoken candidly about the reaction she has received from fans after steamy sex scenes aired of her on the BBC One soap.
Letita’s character Sharon Mitchell is one of the soap’s original cast members and with that comes a long line of relationships, love triangles and most recently an affair.
She began her current marriage with Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) while married to Phil’s brother Grant (Ross Kemp).
Sharon also had steamy scenes with former love interest Dennis Rickman (Nigel Harman) but it was her latest sex scenes which really caught fans’ attention.

Sharon and Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) have been the talk of the soap world after they embarked on an affair behind Phil and Louise Mitchell’s backs.
From romping in Phil’s bed with some kinky handcuffs, to doing the dead on the Mitchell’s kitchen table, and then in the Arches, it certainly hasn’t been short of sex scenes recently.
Speaking of the reaction she has received since, Letita said: “Well, sometimes when I pop into my local little OneStop, I get some very strange looks from young boys, but the people that I’ve seen in my little quiet life have really enjoyed it.”

The soap star also went on to praised Danny for being “so respectful” while filming the scenes.
Saying how she felt filming the intimates scenes, she said: “Very trying! Looking up into those beautiful eyes.
“Danny, on a serious note, was so respectful and lovely — and I just couldn’t believe my luck, really, because he’s such a lovely bloke.

“I loved doing it. I loved working with Danny very much. It was really exciting for me.”
