EastEnders fans notice something seriously odd about Ben Mitchell

EastEnders’ Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) was yet again on the wrong side of a beating in tonight’s episode.

The mechanic has been delivered a thumping on multiple occasions by a variety of different Walford residents in recent times from Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) to Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ).

The latest punch-up was between Ben and a desperate Martin Fowler (James Bye).

Ben has enraged Martin by luring him into a criminal job and then turning his back on his promise to allow Stacey (Lacey Turner) to come home.

With Ben having gone back on his word, Martin was furious that he and Stacey were back to square one and a fierce showdown followed.

Stacey’s husband punched Ben across the face but Phil Mitchell’s cunning son warned him that he would pay the price for this.

Eagle-eyed viewers took to their keyboards to point out the bizarre amount of times that Ben has been beaten up in a short space of time.

One said: “You’d think the amount of beatings Ben has had since he’s been back that he’d stop being a nasty to everyone.”

Martin wasn’t that Ben had doubled crossed him

Another added: “Ben Mitchell gets more beatings in a few weeks than what the police dish out to the nation’s criminals in a year.”

A third said: “Another beating for Ben. Scabs he likes I think.”

A fourth said: “Ben in EastEnders gets beaten up every day it seems.”

Martin was seen phoning Stacey in tonight’s show to say that she couldn’t return to Walford.

The fruit and veg stall owner lied to his worried wife and said the reason the family couldn’t return to Albert Square was because of his daughter Bex but viewers know that real reason behind the decision is Ben.

EastEnders spoilers have revealed that Martin’s life will be left in serious danger in upcoming scenes.

Stacey made an emotional exit from Walford in August following her attack on Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

Ben has lured Martin into his murky world, but will he make it out alive?

EastEnders returns to Monday on 8pm
