Eamonn Holmes turned 60 earlier this month and the This Morning presenter seemingly appeared to be a little weary about turning another year older. The TV star spoke candidly in a recent interview where he admitted he “didn’t want to talk about it”.
The ITV favourite and his wife Ruth Langsford, 59, have been married for nine years and share one son together – Jack Holmes, 17.
Speaking in an interview with OK! magazine, Eamonn’s wife urged the presenter to look after his health more as he is getting older.
Discussing his age, Eamonn said: “Don’t talk about it! My best years have gone.”
Ruth commented: “You look great for 60! I’m going to embrace being 60. I certainly don’t feel it. I’m certainly 60 pounds heavier though.”
Elsewhere, the Northern-Irish born presenter recently took to Instagram and shared a rare family photograph which surprised many of his fans.
His latest post featured a snap of the veteran host alongside his lookalike brothers which he branded the “best Christmas present”.
In view of his 566,000 followers, Eamonn captioned the post: “Leonard , Brian , Colm and Conor – My Brothers – Always my best Christmas present.”
It seemingly appeared he had returned to his hometown of Belfast for the Christmas festivities.
