Dynamo has opened up about his recovery from coronavirus.
The magician was finishing up a new TV show when he was told he’d caught the virus last month.
The star is in the high risk category because he suffers from reactive arthritis.
Speaking to the BBC, the 37-year-old said he’s doing ‘pretty good’ two weeks later.
‘I had it really rough,’ Dynamo explained. ‘But nowhere near as rough as what some people are having to go through.
‘I had to get tested privately.
‘I appreciate that, you know, so many people don’t have the ability or possibility to be able to do that.
‘But because of existing conditions and the medication I’m on for them, which basically wiped out my immune system, I’m very high risk.’
The star is currently fronting new show Dynamo: Beyond Belief, airing now on Sky One and NOW TV.
Dynamo revealed on 2 April on Instagram that he had tested positive for coronavirus.
He told fans: ‘This illness can affect anyone, it doesn’t discriminate and it can present itself in many different ways.’
He added that he’d had a persistent cough and aches and pains, and that he’d been self-isolating for two weeks.
At the time of writing, there were 1,589, 256 cases of coronavirus worldwide.
At least 94,949 people have lost their lives since catching the virus.
