Dumped Love Island hunk Callum reveals who is game playing in villa

In tonight’s Love Island, the boys were tense as the first recoupling loomed, as well as the first dumping.

The power was in the hands of the ladies, including newbie Molly-Mae Hague, meaning one of the lads would be sent packing.

And, sadly for Callum Macleod, he was left standing solo, so his time in the villa was up.

Speaking after his exit, the 28-year-old said: “It’s unfortunate that I didn’t meet anyone that I connected with but I had such good fun in there.

“It was a fabulous thing to do and a really positive thing in my life”

“Even though I didn’t meet anyone that I could potentially be with on the outside, I loved it, which is a great bonus.

“I would have taken any opportunity like this. It was a fabulous thing to do and a really positive thing in my life.”

So far, it seems Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart are the only couple to be feeling any sort of romance.

But despite this, Callum says he doesn’t think anyone in the villa is playing a game just to stick around.

He said: “I don’t think I was in there long enough to work that out. It was too hard to work out.

UNLUCKY: Callum didn’t find a romantic relationship with anyone (Pic: ITV)

“A lot of us were in friendship couples. There was only one solid couple in there, and maybe a couple of love triangles.

“It’s too hard to tell, but I didn’t notice it if I’m honest.”

And he certainly wasn’t playing a game, as he explained: “I didn’t go in with a game plan, I was going in there to meet someone.

STILL SINGLE: Hopefully Callum will have more luck outside the villa (Pic: ITV)

“It’s pot luck in a way. If someone walks in that you have a connection with, you’re onto a winner, but if they don’t I wasn’t going to fake it with anyone just to stay in the villa, because I don’t think that’s fair on the person.”

But with a new bombshell on the way, who will be left scrambling to stay in a couple?

Callum will appear on Love Island: Aftersun on Sunday at 10pm on ITV2.
