A QANTAS passenger was forced to be restrained by flight attendants after screaming at other passengers and disrupting the flight.
The passenger allegedly drank a “bottle of vodka” in the bathroom on the plane before the incident, according to a witness.
The man, named as Henry by a witness, was travelling from Melbourne to Singapore when he became disruptive.
In the video, a flight attendant can be seen pointing as two men walk to the back of the plane where the man is.
The flight attendant then grabs the camera and stops filming.
In a second video, the man continued to yell after he was tied to a chair and was restrained, calling the crew members paedophiles.
He yelled: “You cannot tell me how to behave.”
A witness told Newsflare: “I was shocked to hear shouting and abusive language behind me.
“His remarks to the male crew members calling them paedophiles was very distressing and upsetting.
“The crew members attempted to subdue him however, he was very drunk and apparently he had brought on a bottle of vodka onto the flight from duty free and had consumed it in the bathroom without anyone else’s knowledge.
“He then became further agitated and aggressive and punched a male crew member in the back.”
According to the witness, they didn’t divert the flight as there were no closer airports than their destination.
The fellow flyer said: “All passengers including myself were quite shocked that this happened but thoroughly impressed with how the Qantas staff managed to control the man without any further incident despite his obvious abusive towards the staff.”
According to the Mail Online, the man was arrested after the flight landed in Singapore.
A Ryanair passenger was recently caught in a drunken altercation during a flight, resulting in a man having his nose bitten in a fight.
Passengers were left screaming after the man was left covered in blood.
